BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Texas men's DMR squad set a facility record and were crowned the 2022 NCAA Indoor National Champions on Friday night.
The exciting race saw Cruz Gomez, Willington Wright, Crayton Carrozza and Yaseen Abdalla finish with a time of 9:25.20. The win gave Texas 10 team points headed into the final day of competition.
The DMR win was the second time in school history the Longhorns won the event after Leo Manzono, Tevan Everett, Danzell Fortson and Jacob Hernandez won it back in 2008.
