Coach Juluke, a New Orleans, LA, native played collegiate ball at Southern University, where he starred as a safety and helped lead the 1993 Southern Tigers to an 11-1 record and a Black National Championship.
He also lettered in basketball during the 1994-95 season and earned a bachelor's degree in sociology. Juluke began his coaching career in Louisiana high schools, starting as a defensive coordinator at Douglas HS (1996-98) before becoming head coach at Karr HS (2006-12).

Collegiate coaching journey
Juluke began his collegiate coaching career in 2013 as the running backs coach at Louisiana Tech, where he coached future Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon.
