Freshman linebacker Ayodele Adeoye and freshman defensive back DeMarvion Overshown will miss the opener at Maryland with knee injuries suffered in Saturday's scrimmage, the school announced.
While Texas did not provide a timetable and the two continue to receive treatment, the team said they "will miss an extended period of time." Adeoye had been pushing for playing time after a strong spring.
