Texas is back (!!!) ......... on the cover of Dave Campbell's Texas Football.
The publication revealed quarterback Sam Ehlinger as the summer's main cover Monday afternoon. The last time Texas was on the cover was in the summer of 2017 with head coach Tom Herman. Before that it was QB Colt McCoy in 2009.
That's not the only local connection to this year's covers. Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher graced the main cover last summer.
DCTF announced Duncanville and Galena Park North Shore as its secondary cover.
That game, of course, ended in dramatic fashion with North Shore completing a 45-yard Hail Mary as time expired to win the state title.
