AUSTIN -- Sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger is expected to play in Friday's regular season finale against Kansas, Texas head coach Tom Herman announced following Wednesday's practice.
Ehlinger, who suffered an AC contusion in his throwing shoulder during this past Saturday's 24-10 win over Iowa State and missed the second half, threw for the first time since the injury on Tuesday and "did well," per a UT spokesman.
UT officials announced Wednesday that Ehlinger was a full participant in practice again and progressed to 40 throws.
This is the second injury to Ehlinger's throwing shoulder this season.
