4-star Buford HS (Buford, GA) defensive end Dre Quinn officially decommitted from Clemson yesterday, and reports are that Dabo Swinney and the Tigers are devastated. It appears as though Quinn has seen the current state of the program and their 1-3 record and doesn't feel as comfortable with his pledge to the South Carolina school.
Quinn was one of their apparent "must gets" for the 2026 cycle, and his presence back on the market has caused a frenzy amongst some of his other top schools. Texas EDGE coach LaAllan Clark has been Quinn's main point of contact throughout his recruiting process, and it's safe to say that Clark reached back out the minute he heard that Quinn was available again.
