Texas football's jaw-dropping offensive stats are driving Longhorns fans berserk

Through three weeks of the 2025 college football season, it's no secret that Texas' offense has been struggling pretty bad for a couple of different reasons. It's easy to say "next week will be better" after another horrible performance against UTEP, but these numbers consistently say otherwise.

Texas' offensive rankings

- Last in the SEC in 3rd down conversions
- Last in the SEC in Red Zone conversions
- 12th in the SEC in 4th down conversions
- 14th in the SEC in scoring and total offense
- 13th in the SEC in passing yards per game
- 9th in the SEC in rushing yards per game

Arch Manning SEC quarterback rankings

- 13th in the SEC in overall passing rank
- 12th in the SEC in long passing plays
- Last in the SEC in completion percentage
- 13th in the SEC in quarterback rating
- 14th in the SEC in interceptions thrown

These are some absolutely mind-boggling numbers for a team like Texas, with a quarterback who was supposed to be the "next big thing" in 2025 and beyond.
