One of the most interesting spreads of Week 3 around the country was Texas football getting the 3.5-point favoring over the USC Trojans by Vegas. Texas is coming off a rough start to the 2018 regular season. Even though the Trojans are too, the situation under head coach Clay Helton doesn’t seem to be as bad as the Longhorns.
So far, the Horns have yet to cover a single spread this season. Texas has been favored in every game thus far, including the five-point loss at the hands of the Maryland Terrapins. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane was also a 23-point underdog to Texas and only lost by seven points in the home opener on the Forty Acres.
