The legendary line of quarterbacks to come out of the Texas football program since around the 1960s could add yet another name among the best to suit up in the burnt orange and white. Rising junior star quarterback Sam Ehlinger had a breakout sophomore season and is starting to garner real Heisman hype for the 2019 campaign.
Ehlinger got a nice compliment from a former legendary quarterback, and national champion, out of the Texas Longhorns football program Vince Young. In the 2006 Rose Bowl and BCS National Championship Game against the USC Trojans, VY led the Longhorns to win the first title for this program in around three decades.
