Head Texas football coach Tom Herman spoke with the media at the outset of fall camp this past week and he got some time with the national media too. The national media was where Herman really made headlines for the Texas football program. He made the most of his opportunity to express his thoughts about Texas and what this program’s tradition brings to the table while on the ‘Golic and Wingo” ESPN show on Aug. 4.
Herman stated in that interview with ‘Golic and Wingo’ that he felt like Texas was the “mecca of college football”. He went all out for his description of what Texas means to the college football landscape.
