GIVE THE TEXAS FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE LINE A BREAK
Sure, it is easy to pick the offensive line as the weakest unit and single biggest reason Texas football has been unsuccessful. A quarterback can’t get into a groove scrambling, and a running back can’t get going if he is hit behind the line of scrimmage. However, it is hard for a O-Line to block when the majority of plays are passing.
Texas’ run game was the worse I have ever witnesssed from Texas football last year. With that type of run game a blitz can be expected nearly every play which makes it nearly impossible for the o-line to do their job.
