Among the prospects that were on campus for the Texas Heat Wave weekend that included a load of visiting prospects and the annual pool party were targets that could commit before the 2019 regular season even arrives. There were also a number of prospects that head Texas football coach Tom Herman will really need to duke it out for to win over competing schools.
There’s three main schools that are competing for a lot of the same prospects for the 2020 and 2021 cycles as Texas football recruiting. Two are expected rivals and another is a blue blood Big Ten program that is a bit surprising.
