Texas football signee Reese Leitao arrested on drug charge at his high school

Texas football signee Reese Leitao was arrested Tuesday on a drug charge at his high school.

Leitao, a tight end from Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma, was booked into Tulsa County Jail on a charge of possession and delivery of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a school.

"We're aware of the situation involving our signee, Reese Leitao," Texas coach Tom Herman said in a statement. "We're collecting information, will talk to Reese and his family, let the legal system run its course and then address it further at the appropriate time.
