Texas Football: Running back depth scary thin ahead LSU game

An injury that didn’t seem to be all that bad for Texas football in the regular season opener last weekend against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, true freshman running back Jordan Whittington is worse off than originally anticipated.

Head Texas football coach Tom Herman addressed the media in his Monday press conference on Sep. 2. In that press conference, he announced that Whittington would be out for 4-6 weeks due to a torn adductor muscle. The coaching staff is planning to fly him back out to Philadelphia, PA, this week to have him treated the same way as he was in fall camp.
