The biggest announcement on the recruiting trail on the initial day of bowl action comes from the No. 2 rated 2019 high school prospect in the nation. The five-star Thousand Oaks, CA, weak-side defensive end and Oaks Christian High School product Kayvon Thibodeaux is giving his commitment to one of his four finalists on Dec. 15. The 2019 Texas football recruiting class is not one of the four finalists he will be choosing between on Dec. 15.
However, the Texas Longhorns were one of the 30 offers he received. The four finalists that Kayvon Thibodeaux narrowed his decision down to includes the Alabama Crimson Tide, Oregon Ducks, Florida Gators, and Florida State Seminoles.
