A huge bounce back on the trail for new head coach Steve Sarkisian and running backs coach Stan Drayton for the 2022 Texas football recruiting class came to a head on the evening of June 28. Texas landed a commitment from the talented and potent four-star Tyler Legacy (TX) running back Jamarion Miller.
Texas missed out on landing their second running back commit in the 2022 class last week when three-star Newton product DeAnthony Gatson gave his pledge to head coach Clay Helton and the USC Trojans over the Longhorns.
