What the Texas football program was able to do in 2018 was very reliant on the senior class that encompassed so much of the starting positions on both sides of the ball. At the beginning of the regular season, more than 80 percent of the starters of both sides of the ball for Texas football were made up of upperclassmen.
On offense, Texas football is set to lose six starters. Five of those six starters are seniors that will be looking to make their way into the 2019 NFL Draft with different outlooks across the board. The other starter departing the Forty Acres is an early entrant into the 2019 NFL Draft that Texas football will miss in 2019, breakout wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey.
