There were three mixed head coaching tenures for the Texas football program over the course of the last decade. Coaching turnover was never really a common theme on the Forty Acres, but Texas made it so with the ups and downs that came with the 2010’s.
Texas is set to close out this decade as they carry a 7-5 (5-4 Big 12) record into the Alamo Bowl against head coach Kyle Whittingham and the No. 11 ranked Utah Utes on Dec. 31 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Herman and this Texas team will be taking on Utah for just the second time in program history.
