Another big win in the coaching search to fill out each position group came for the Texas football program earlier this week. Maybe the biggest coaching hire that head coach Tom Herman was able to make for his staff since filling both major coordinator roles came with the reported hiring of former Oklahoma Sooners assistant Jay Boulware.
The announcement that Boulware would be hired to be the next tight ends coach, special teams coordinator, and associate head coach of the Texas Longhorns football program came officially on the Texas Football Twitter page on Jan. 18.
Texas will have an extremely established and respected assistant coach leading the group that includes junior tight end Cade Brewer.
