It’s hard to tell exactly where the 2022 Texas football recruiting class is trending of late for the elite five-star Frisco-Liberty wide receiver Evan Stewart. For a while, it looked like head coach Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators were taking the lead with Stewart. But a lot of that momentum has seemingly pulled back in recent weeks.
A lot will hinge on the potential looming visit for Stewart with the Longhorns on the important Big 12 game weekend against the Oklahoma State Cowboys. That is the anticipated weekend where Texas and new head coach Steve Sarkisian look to host Stewart for a visit.
