A huge weekend for the 2022 Texas football recruiting class and with more potential movement with the support staff for newly hired head coach Steve Sarkisian kept the news cycle on the Forty Acres very busy. Sark not only really boosted up his 2022 recruiting class with two big commitments over the weekend, he also could make a notable addition to his support staff after some controversy earlier in the week.
It looked like there was a chance that Sark and the Longhorns would hire Drew Hughes formerly of the Tennessee Volunteers to be their next director of player personnel.
