After last weekend, the Longhorns needed some good news. Luckily, Texas got just that when four-star quarterback Kavian Bryant announced his final five schools, and the Horns had made the cut.
Bryant, who is the No. 2 quarterback in the class of 2027, is a Texas native and included the Longhorns alongside the SMU Mustangs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Colorado Buffaloes, and Florida State Seminoles.
Texas already landed the No. 1 quarterback in the class of 2026, Dia Bell, and the No. 18 quarterback in the class of 2025, KJ Lacey.
While the Horns' current starting QB might not be working out as expected, it is undeniable that the Horns' head coach, Steve Sarkisian, is ensuring that the quarterback room is full of depth for years to come.
