In the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28 against the No. 11 ranked Utah Utes, the Texas football program is set to rock some new cleats. Texas will be wearing the brand of athletic apparel from one of the school’s most notable alumni of any athletic program on campus. The Brooklyn Nets recently signed superstar forward Kevin Durant is going to have his brand name cleats worn by Texas in the Alamo Bowl against Utah.
Head Texas football coach Tom Herman had a reveal in a team meeting with the cleats that was posted on the program’s official Twitter page.
