An interesting and surprising report emerged for the Texas football program that involved the former North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Larry Fedora. According to the Twitter timeline of Anwar Richards, Fedora interviewed with Texas football last week and was on the Forty Acres on Wednesday for a staff meeting.
This is a huge sign for the Texas football program that at least a proven assistant coach and great offensive mind like Fedora is interviewing as an analyst. Traditionally, this is something that happens with programs like the Alabama Crimson Tide and Ohio State Buckeyes. It’s been a while since the Texas Longhorns were a place that coaches would do this.
