The 2020 Texas football recruiting class took a huge hit within the past 10 days in terms of losing commitments due to various reasons. On Oct. 31, head Texas football coach Tom Herman and defensive coordinator Todd Orlando really undertook a Halloween scare by losing four-star Winter Park, FL, cornerback Ethan Pouncey. He was the third decommitment for the 2020 recruiting class just within the past two weeks. Pouncey was also the second defensive back lost.
The other defensive back loss for the 2020 recruiting class for the Texas Longhorns football program of late is four-star in-state cornerback Joshua Eaton.
