Texas Football: Jordan Whittington undergoes second sports hernia surgery

Injury news continue to fall out of the Texas football program of late. Texas couldn’t stay healthy on either side of the ball throughout the 2019 season. That is part of the reason why head coach Tom Herman only won seven games during the regular season. One of those injuries went to true freshman running back Jordan Whittington.

There wasn’t even one full game that Whittington suited up for this season. He had two sports hernia surgeries since summer workouts ended. The second of the two surgeries came earlier this week, and appeared to be successful.
