That commitment that came for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class was from the ultra-elusive four-star Trinity Catholic and St. Louis, MO, athlete Mookie Cooper.
The actual commitment for Cooper was announced on Feb. 16, which kicked off a now exciting weekend of festivities for Texas football for Junior Day. Cooper ranks as the nation’s No. 73 2020 high school prospect and the No. 4 overall athlete.
