This was a great two-day span for the Texas football program with spring camp just a handful of days away from officially beginning. The 2019 Texas football recruiting class isn’t quite done adding key pieces together for the roster come this fall. What this program was able to add on March 4 was no exception.
The only unranked commit so far in the 2019 Texas football recruiting class, and likely ever to be, came from the Iowa Western Community College 6-foot-7 offensive tackle Willie Tyler. Head Texas football coach Tom Herman and co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Herb Hand pursued Tyler very hard since the conclusion of National Signing Day this year.
