It can’t be more than a few days before new Texas football head coach Steve Sarkisian draws close to naming a starting quarterback. Texas has one of the longer-running quarterback battles among the Power Five programs. Considering that Texas has roughly 10 days remaining before the start of the regular season, Sark doesn’t have much time left to make this decision.
Sark also tabbed the fact that he doesn’t want to have a two-quarterback system in Week 1. That would mean that Sark and the Longhorns need to have a quarterback decision in place in the next few days of actual fall practice.
