A good portion of the reason for Texas football entering the second-week matchup with the Tulsa Golden Hurricane looking for the first win of the season was some huge errors from sophomore quarterback Sam Ehlinger late in the fourth quarter of Week 1. Chalking up the Week 1 loss just to Ehlinger would just be flat out wrong since the blame could fall across the board.
Ehlinger played pretty well through the second and third quarter against the Terps until it all came apart at the end of the game. It’s clear what he needs to adjust to get back on track and actually take the Horns to the next level.
