The first punter commit in three cycles committed to the 2021 Texas football recruiting class on May 29 with the pledge of ProKick’s Isaac Pearson.
The pipeline of Australian punters landing with various Texas football recruiting class since former head coach Charlie Strong landed a commitment from current Seattle Seahawks Pro Bowler Michael Dickson was strong. On May 29, head coach Tom Herman took another stab at bringing in a solid special teams unit addition from overseas by landing a commitment from unranked ProKick Australia 6-foot-2 and 215 pound punter Isaac Pearson.
