AUSTIN, Texas — A former collegiate standout and NFL running back who is in his eighth year of coaching, Tashard Choice has been hired as running backs coach at Texas. Choice spent significant time during his career in the state of Texas, first as an NFL player, then volunteering time with Waxahachie High School's football program, followed by serving as a coaching intern with the Dallas Cowboys and as an assistant coach at North Texas. He replaces Stan Drayton who took over as head coach at Temple earlier this week.
