Some recent news that is rather unfortunate for No. 17 Texas football before it takes the field on Nov. 3 to face the No. 13 West Virginia Mountaineers released just before the weekend. Texas football will be without a key anchor along the defensive line against the electric West Virginia offense.
And, there are some other injuries for the Texas Longhorns along the line that could make an impact even with those players suiting up. Senior defensive end Breckyn Hager was officially listed as questionable for much of the week with an injury to his sternum that hampered him in the Week 9 road loss to the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
