Last week was a fairly eventful one for UT’s football commits, and not all in a good way. Future Texas Longhorns led their teams to wins over teams from six states plus Mexico, but one commit had his game canceled due to thunderstorms and lightning, the team of another came perilously close to blowing a 35-point 3rd quarter lead, and two commits had to be carried off the field after suffering 4th quarter injuries. Off the field, one commit issued a tweet on Sunday morning in the wake of UT’s ugly win over Tulsa that many observers interpreted as him wavering on his commitment.
