The writing was on the wall for the next official hire to the coaching staff of the Texas football program at this point of the offseason. But the news that newly hired Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian would be hiring Billy Glasscock to be his director of player personnel officially arrived on the afternoon of Feb. 19 (confirmed by Horns247 report).
This is the biggest program that Glasscock will take on for the same role that he served in with the NC State Wolfpack and Minnesota Golden Gophers in recent years.
