There’s always going to be a lot of bad blood between the Texas football program and the hated rival Oklahoma Sooners. With that in mind, it’s not too surprising that the former Oklahoma Heisman-Trophy winning quarterback Baker Mayfield was caught showing the ‘Horns Down’ hand sign as a football camp he was at recently.
What was interesting about this football camp where Mayfield taught kids that gesture is that it was hosted in Austin, TX, at Lake Travis High School. It’s rare to find a football camp that close to the Forty Acres that has kids learning that type of hand sign.
