Bad news on the recruiting trail arrived for Texas football in the 2024 class on June 20. Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian will reportedly no longer be hosting the elite five-star Temple (TX) Lake Belton wide receiver target Micah Hudson on an official visit to Austin this weekend.
A report emerged on the afternoon of June 20 from Jason Suchomel of Orangebloods stating that Hudson is not visiting Texas this weekend after he exchanged texts with the elite wide receiver recruit. Hudson will reportedly be in College Station on June 22 and 23 for the Texas State Championship 7v7 tournament later this week.
