Fall camp arrived late last week for the Texas football program which signals that the beginning of the 2019 regular season is just a few weeks away. Texas football kicks off its 2019 campaign against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs at home on Aug. 31. That is followed up by a mammoth Week 2 showdown against the No. 6 ranked (Amway Coaches Preseason Poll) LSU Tigers on Sep. 7 at home at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium under the lights in primetime.
However, the beginning of the month of August brings with it the beginning of fall practices and the excitement of knowing that college football is about to once again end its eight-and-a-half month hiatus.
