With Texas football officially 20 games into the era under the direction of second-year head coach Tom Herman, things are going pretty well now. The official record for the Longhorns now under Herman is set at 13-7 heading into the first bye week of the 2018 campaign. Last year’s record for Herman rounded out at 7-6 (5-4 Big 12).
Last season was one of the most successful seasons for the Texas football program in the past four years. Herman’s first year on the Forty Acres led to a better result than Charlie Strong had in any of his four years previous.
