It might seem like a moot point by now, but adding to the running back position this off-season should still be a primary task at hand for this coaching staff for the Texas football program. This is an idea that the coaching staff is hopefully keeping in the back of their minds still.
The coaching staff already made some adjustments at running back ahead of the first spring camp scrimmage this off-season. An idea emerging of giving five-star 2019 wide receiver signee and early enrollee Jordan Whittington getting a heavy workload out of the backfield this year looks more and more realistic.
