The Washington Huskies got a big addition to the 2020 recruiting class for the offensive side of the ball on July 14 by landing a key running back target for the 2020 Texas football recruiting class. Four-star Eastside Catholic talented running back Sam Adams II picked the Huskies over Texas football, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators, and Florida State Seminoles to cap the weekend.
An initial set of finalist schools released by Adams II entering the college football offseason included the Texas Longhorns football program. But the last finalist cut for Adams II’s top schools eliminated the Longhorns once and for all.
