Texas Football: 4-star OT Javonne Shepherd makes correct decision, signs LOI

The weird saga surrounding a very crucial target for the 2019 Texas football recruiting class finally ended in the afternoon of Feb. 6, National Signing Day. Four-star Texas football offensive tackle pledge Javonne Shepherd announced at North Forest High School in Houston, TX, on Feb. 6 that he would keep his commitment and sign his National Letter of Intent to come to the Forty Acres.

When it came down to it, Shepherd was set to pick between four finalists for his commitment and signing decision. Those four schools included the Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas A&M Aggies, and Georgia Bulldogs.
