Another key target of the 2021 Texas football recruiting class put them among his finalist schools this month. Four-star John Muir 6-foot-1 and 175 pound cornerback Jamier Johnson dropped his top seven finalist schools on April 13, which provided some good news at a potential position of need for Texas.
In their 2020 signing class, the Texas Longhorns football program landed one true cornerback. That one corner for the Longhorns was four-star John Tyler product Kitan Crawford. While Crawford should help the Longhorns two or three years down the road, they will need to keep the depth rolling in at the cornerback position in the 2021 recruiting class.
