A big hit was taken to the 2021 Texas football recruiting class on May 28, with the loss of one of the most important in-state cornerback targets of this entire cycle. Head coach Tom Herman and cornerbacks coach Jay Valai lost out on the race to land the commitment of four-star Denton-Guyer cornerback Deuce Harmon on Thursday afternoon.
Harmon wound up picking to link up with head coach Jimbo Fisher and the in-state rival Texas A&M Aggies over the Texas Longhorns football program.
