The NCAA Transfer Portal has taken a lot of proven talent and depth from the defensive backfield of the Texas football program this offseason. And two of the most significant losses to the transfer portal for newly hired head coach Steve Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski so far this offseason included cornerbacks Kenyatta Watson II and junior Jalen Green.
The sophomore Georgia native Watson II entered the transfer portal in the midst of the 2020 regular season, and wound up landing with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets back in his home state.
