Texas took on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs in the regular season opener last weekend. Four passing touchdowns and no picks from junior quarterback Sam Ehlinger guided Texas to a 45-14 convincing victory over head coach Skip Holtz and Louisiana Tech. He was nearly spotless as he only got sacked once and completed 28 of his 38 passing attempts.
