This is a perfect time for the 2021 Texas football recruiting class to scout deeper and take advantage of the differentiated atmosphere on the trail in the midst of the novel coronavirus pandemic. Since the NCAA mandated no in-person recruiting contact through the end of next month, programs have to get creative with how they try to reach their top targets.
Texas experienced mixed success recently with various big-time in-state prospects. But hopefully they will get more good news on the trail soon as two potentially vital parts of the 2021 class are soon to announce their commitment decisions.
