In a likely move that shouldn’t surprise many, the 2019 Texas football team notched itself a top 10 ranking in the nation in the release of the first major preseason poll. That first release for the upcoming 2019 regular season for a major top 25 ranking was the Amway Coaches Poll which dropped on Aug. 1.

The first AP Poll for the 2019 season still won’t be released here for a few weeks. Once we get closer and closer to the kick-off of “Week 0”, the AP Poll will release.
