Day three of the 2020 NFL Draft should be very important for a number of former members of the Texas football program. Two Texas Exes were picked on day two of the NFL Draft, both in the third round. Those two Texas Exes picked in the third round of this draft were safety Brandon Jones (to the Miami Dolphins 70th overall) and wide receiver Devin Duvernay (to the Baltimore Ravens 92nd overall).
This left the likes of towering 6-foot-6 wide receiver Collin Johnson, athletic 6-foot-3 defensive end/edge rusher Malcolm Roach, and experienced center Zach Shackelford as the three Texas Exes to watch in rounds four through seven.
