Entering the start of the Big 12 slate for new head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas football program, what looks to be an improving Texas Tech Red Raiders team awaits. Texas Tech was an interesting opponent for Texas during the era under head coach Tom Herman. Texas took care of business three times in four tries against Texas Tech under Herman. But two of those three wins were very close.
The good news here is that Sark and the Longhorns get the Red Raiders at home. It is usually much easier for the Longhorns to face Texas Tech at home than on the road.
